Skip the line at some of Toronto’s best bakeries. Each pastry is on us. The catch? You’ll have to run for it.

The Toronto Bakery Run is a social half marathon (21.1km) through the city with stops at some of our favourite neighbourhood bakeries along the way.

We’ll kick things off at Organic Press Café (708 Annette St.) on Saturday May 23 at 9:00 AM, heading through Toronto’s west end and beyond.

Runners will move in three waves advanced, intermediate and beginner with pastries waiting at every stop. Croissants, cinnamon buns, fritters and whatever else the bakeries pull fresh from the oven that morning.

100 runners will be selected via lottery. Spots are drawn in pairs of two, so bring someone you’d share a pastry with.

Come hungry.
